How To Find Us

North Wiltshire Woodturners Association meets at Hook Village Hall - postcode: SN4 8EA. The precise location of the hall is at the 'red bubble' on the map below. As you can see from the map, we are just North of Royal Wootton Bassett between Hook and Greatfield.

  • If coming from the Royal Wootton Bassett direction you'll need to be a little careful approaching the hall since it's just round a slight bend (it's on the left) and it's easy to miss it. If you see Greatfield Nurseries on your left, then you've come too far.
  • If you're coming from the East via Hook Street (see map), then the hall is immediately opposite the junction.
  • If coming from the North you will pass Greatfield Nurseries on your right and, very soon afterwards The Bolingbroke Arms on the left, within another 150 yards, you will see the hall on your right.

Car Parking at Hook Village Hall

There is a large open car park in front of and to the left-hand side of the Village Hall.  Occasionally, at some of the Club Night meetings, the car park has been full!  There is very little parking in the close vicinity of the Hall - and the absence of street lighting (and lack of pavements) makes it inadvisable to wander around in the dark!  Careful parking of cars in the available space indicates that there is room for approximately 56 cars - see the plan below.  Just be prepared to be 'blocked in' and not worry too much about a fast getaway at the end of the evening...
Please 'fill-up' the car park in accordance with the diagram shown below:
