Club Night Report

Annual General Meeting - Wednesday 12th November 2025 - Report and Photos by Paul Kohn

The usual AGM actions and structure took place on Wednesday 12th November 2025 - which was well attended by almost two thirds of the Clubs Members.

It was led by our very able Club Chairman Tim Mortimer who was ably supported by Ken Gateley, the Club Treasurer and Arthur Kingdon, the Club Secretary, who also presented Harry Rock's reports - Club Web Administrator, being on holiday - hopefully having a wonderful time.

The reports made were very clear and well received and decisions on funding for the coming years subscriptions and overall Club funds were agreed by all. A very well organised and successful AGM.

There being no further business the AGM concluded at 19:40 hrs. The full minutes of the meeting will be published and distributed to the Club Membership in due course.

Then followed tea/coffee, a chance to chat and view possible future purchases.
After which came the auction of multitudinous and very varied items - many donated by Club members, some being sold on commission.
The auction was conducted by Arthur Kingdon, in his inimitable style who was very ably assisted by Ken Gateley and Mike Crawshaw doing an absolutely sterling job on the computer and calculator. What a team!

Almost all present left with some wonderful new and hopefully, very useful new equipment, after a long evening of heavy bidding. Another great auction and a very pleasant event, well done to all. It only remains to be said that the whole event has also raised some great extra funding to help keep the Club well and truly afloat. Thank you!
