Club Night Photos for 14th December 2017 - Club Christmas Party and Your Best Item Made in 2017

The December Meeting saw a good number of members and guests who enjoyed the excellent food and drink available (many thanks are due to Heather Crawshaw).
There were live demonstrations by Richard Branscombe and George Gansbuehler, with opportunities for everyone to have a try at making finials and Christmas trees, as well as displays of items made by the Tools and Jigs Group.
The display of turned items was impressive as was the segmented bowl by Roger Hoare who, once again, won the "Best Item of the Year' trophy.
Runner Up was Arthur Kingdon with a tazza in pau rosa and African blackwood.
