November 14th 2012 - Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Club Auction

AGM - In the interests of getting on with the Auction, this was dispensed with fairly quickly.
The Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer's reports were all presented and accepted/ applauded by the Club Members.
The Treasurer asked for and to his surprise, obtained an increase in the annual insurance premium for next year! However, he then assured the members that although we made a small operating loss during the year - we were still healthily in 'the black' at the bank.

New Committee Members were proposed and votes were held. Consequently, the Club now has a new Chairperson, Treasurer and Web Administrator.

AUCTION - The annual Club Auction was a great success with over 200 lots being offered for sale. Ian Murray West was the auctioneer and moved the bidding along at a brisk pace.
Any items that were not sold/ failed to attract a bid are to be offered to the Tools for Self Reliance in Africa (www.tfsr.org)
