Colin's demonstration of the difference between rough turning and "finish turning" produced the shavings pictured above. On the left are shavings produced when taking heavier cuts during the "rough turning" process and on the right are the shavings produced when a piece is being "finish turned".


So that's what liming wax does!	This spray-painted bowl has come up a treat - produces a nice contrast with the figure of the wood in the background.

	Here's a paper knife which Colin produced using a technique known as "Therming".
